Mix & Match concept
Posted on June 13 2017
Maybe you're not really aware of the o.Moi's Mix & Match concept so this is why we decided to make a blog post about it.
It consists of mixing a few drops of any of o.Moi's facial or body oils in the face or body creams in order to enhance the moisturising, nourishing, anti-oxidant or anti-ageing benefits, depending on which products you pick for the duo.
We have a range of allergy-certified products with no fragrance. These products are meant for those with sensitive and reactive skin and who just can't tolerate any fragrance. However, we do have many customers who use and love our allergy-certified products even though they don't fall in this category of being allergic to certain ingredients, fragrance or essential oils. On the days when they would like to "spice up" the fragrance-free products, we recommend that they mix a few drops of our facial/body oils in the respective creams.
Let's take for instance the Crème de Camélia, loved for both customers with allergic and non-allergic skin.
It is an intensely moisturising emulsion, that is instantly absorbed by the skin, leaving it soft and smooth. It is fragrance-free and allergy-certified.
However, for someone who hasn't a reactive skin, a few drops of the Q10+E Facial Oil, for example, can be mixed before application on the whole face and neck.
Q10+E Facial Oil is ideal for dry skin in need of rejuvenation. It is packed with powerfully anti-oxidant plant oils such as Pomegranate, Rice Bran, Primrose and Avocado Oils, which also helps to deep nourish and regenerate the cells. The latter is even more boosted thanks to the presence of the blend of Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin E.
What is Coenzyme Q10?
A little bit of science in simple terms:
This enzyme naturally exists in our cells but unfortunately decreases as we age... just like many things really. Cells are like tiny human beings that also need to breathe to have enough energy to auto-regenerate. Therefore Coenzyme Q10 is essential for "Cell Breathing" by helping in the transportation of energy (ATP) to the "lungs" of the cells (mitochondria), where the energy is generated.
Hence by mixing a few drops of the Q10+E Facial Oil to the Crème de Camélia in the palm of your hands before application, the anti-ageing and anti-oxidant benefits of the duo are improved. The skin is also more deeply nourished and left more supple, smoothed and soft.
Of course, should you wish to use the Q10+E Facial Oil as a serum before the Crème de Camélia, this is totally fine too.
For younger skin, the Soothing Facial Oil is more appropriate.
